They change in a matter of days!

I have had many requests for picture updates with Khloe. So, I thought I'd better post some. I really can't believe how quickly they change! Crazy how one day they look like one child & then the next day they look like the other. In all actuality, she's probably just a mix. Who knows? I can never tell. So...here she is!

Khloe Lynn Ward

She's here!!! Our new little girl, Khloe, was born May 14th at 4:38 a.m. She was 7 lbs 7 oz and 19 inches long. I woke up with a contraction at about 2:00 a.m. and 2 1/2 hours later she was born! Short and sweet! We love it! She is healthy and perfect! Here are some pictures of her in the hospital as well as some of her first day home...

I've never actually seen them perform the hearing test. At Hoag they actually do the test right in the room...I thought it was funny looking, so I took a picture.

Master Ninja

Isaiah competed in the annual Yong-In Championship Tournament for Tae Kwon Do last weekend, and did amazing! He's officially a purple belt, but competed in the tournament as a green belt. It's the cutest thing ever to watch these kids get out in front of judges all super focused, but totally nervous. Isaiah competed in the board breaking and poomse (in other words, where they have this memorized routine of martial arts moves). When all is said and done, he took 1st place in the board breaking division with a "jumping roundhouse kick" and 2nd place in the poomse division...we were so proud! He had a great time and is now looking forward to "testing" for his blue belt.

unRevolutionary

My year's project is only a couple months from completion.

Check out unRevolutionary.com

Make sure to look at the trailer. That's where the action is.

I've officially been pimped!

Okay, so I'm totally excited about my new car. I have been driving Doug's Nissan Titan around for the last while, packing 3 carseats in the back seat, running over numberless flowerbeds, curbs, & who knows, maybe even people! That truck was HUGE! Yes, I know this car isn't much smaller, but the seat raises so I can see over the steering wheel & drives much more like a car then a truck. Anyway, I'm very excited & so is Doug, because he gets his man car back! So, I thought I would share...

Last 4 months in a nutshell because I can't seem to keep a current blog

Okay, I know, I'm mildly pathetic. Yep, one post in the last 4 months...Go Kristi! What has happened to me? I'll tell you, life happens! I know you can all relate, so I don't feel the need to go into detail. So, in order for me to get back into the life of blogs, I will give you a little top 10 list of events which occurred in the last 4 months where I seemed to go missing. Here it goes!

10. Baylie scored her 1st goal in AYSO soccer! (This was quite an accomplishment considering the level of talent some of these girls had)

9. Isaiah lost his first tooth!

8. Kristi found out she's pregnant with #4! Yep, it's another girl!

7. Doug continues to program his video game for the XBox 360.

6. Ellie got her first stitches...5 in the chin. So sad!

5. Grandpa & Grandma Mortensen came to visit!

4. Ellie was hospitalized for a couple days with intussusception (I had no clue what it was either). Wow! That was a really sad experience...very traumatizing.

3. Went to Texas the week of Thanksgiving to see my sister & her family. Have you ever walked through a state park full of alligators? Crazy, crazy, crazy!

2. Ellie entered nursury! What? I can actually pay attention in church again?

1. Isaiah had his 7th Birthday!

I know, pretty exciting. I don't even have pictures to back this up right now! Our laptop with all our pictures on is being serviced... But, I am making a fresh start! This year I will not let this blog defeat me as it did last year. We enjoy hearing from all of you, so keep up the good work! We hope you all had a memorable holiday season & look forward to hearing all about the new & upcoming year!

Happy Halloween!

Lots of fun this Halloween! Trunk-or-treating with our Ward one weekend, and then the real deal with friends the night of Halloween. We met at a friends home for "worms & eyeballs" (spaghetti & meatballs), and then trick-or-treated around the neighborhood. With the kids being a little older, they now run from house to house...well, Isaiah did. Baylie's a little pokier then the rest. Baylie & our little friend Jonas were taking there sweet time...it was quite ridiculous, without going into detail.

Ellie's 1st Ponytail!

Yahoo! Finally, at 15 months we can put some kind of ponytail in Ellie's hair! It took a little to distract her so she wouldn't pull it out, but in the end the ponytail stands.

AYSO Soccer Camp

Baylie had so much fun attending her very 1st AYSO Soccer Camp. All the coaches came over from the U.K. and so they talked with these sweet accents. Coach Chris was her instructor for the week and he was really great with the kids. Though she had already started practicing with her AYSO team, this camp really made her feel like an official soccer player. Her confidence really built throughout the week. She started off carrying her ball into camp, and by the end of the week came out kicking it.

"Wacky Wednesday"

One of her favorite parts of the week was Wacky Wednesday-they had to dress "wacky" (imagine that). Baylie really wanted to spray paint her head to look like a soccer ball, like we did with Isaiah last year, but I wasn't sure it would fly with longer hair and all. So, instead we decided on 8 ponytails.

During the week they also had a "soccer quiz" in which Baylie made it into the "finals", eventually winning it. She was given a special award for this at the end of camp, which she was pretty excited about. According to Baylie, this award proved that she was better at soccer then her brother. I have no idea what the quiz was about, in fact, I'm not even sure the coach remembers. For all we know, it could have been about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

I love time with the girls!

Let me just say that I have some of the best friends in the whole world! So, I'm going to make a little tribute to them! This last week we got to celebrate Cheryls 28th birthday! A girl needs a night out sometimes, and we try to get together as much as we can. Here are a few of our most recent as well as some memorable...

We celebrated Cheryl's birthday with the good old dinner and a movie. We saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2...cute. We had a great time, though we also missed the girls who couldn't make it. Happy Birthday Cheryl!

This summer, me and my girls were able to fly up to Wenatchee, Washington to see my family. My little brother Jared was leaving on his mission, so we wanted to see him one last time before he was off to the MTC (serving in Honduras). We missed Isaiah & Doug a lot, but taking a girls trip was so much fun. I loved being able to focus a little more on each one individually.

My friends also took me out for my 29th birthday! I cannot believe I'm 29! That means next year it's 30! I never thought I'd say this, but hopefully this birthday will make me look a little older. You should hear the comments I get from total strangers when they see I have 3 kids! My favorite is, "Please tell me your at least 18!" The best was about a month ago when we were having mutual at an advisors home. Her friend came over and as the girls were talking about going to school at Dwyer Middle School, she turns to me and says, "so, do you go to Dwyer too?" Seriously...middle school? I know I look young, but come on! We died laughing!

My very best friends in the whole world are my sisters! This was at the end of a very fun week in Cancun with my family. I only wish that we saw more of each other. We are all spread out, it's so sad. Heather is in Houston (Kingwood) Texas, Amy is in Yakima Washington, and Lisa is in E. Wenatchee Washington. But every time we get together, it's always the best! I miss you!

Our friend Melissa was able to get us VIP seats to Dancing with the Stars through a friend of hers who works with ABC. To make a long, but very exciting story short, this included seats 2 rows up from the floor, and VIP passes to meet the stars afterward. If you saw this particular episode, you may have seen us being interviewed about who we thought should stay or go! Seriously, what a fun night! Here are a couple of the pictures we got that night...yes, that's Donny Osmond!

Let's not forget about Cameron!
